Main Responsibilities:

  • Help create, prioritize, monitor, and execute short (blitz) and long-term (quarterly) plans.
  • Implement and maintain project management tools.
  • Act as a mediator between XACT’s development teams and 3rd party development teams.
  • Create a culture of Projects updates and communications to Senior Management and relevant projects partners on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, and within scope and budget.
  • Help build and maintain a product knowledge base to be used by the entire organization.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Coach team(s) to become self-organized and able to hit commitments at a high level of quality.
  • Measure, evaluate, and communicate team metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven working experience of at least 3 years as an R&D Engineer and 3 years in project management in the medical device industry.
  • Proven strategic planning skills.
  • PMP, Agile, and/or a Master’s in Project Management is desirable.
  • Strong technical understanding in order to manage technological limitations and communicate them to R&D teams.
  • Good understanding of agile processes and project lifecycle methodologies – A Must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience leading Agile projects with R&D teams; working by Agile methodology and tools, teams’ structure, roles, and ceremonies.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with different PMO methodologies and strategies, familiarity with best practices, and relevant challenges.
  • A technological and business understanding as well as good familiarity with work processes of an organization.

  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects, working well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
