Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and escalate all field events requiring managerial attention.
  • Duplicate all technical events, work with corp. functions to ensure prompt and proper cross-departments solutions.
  • Define and maintain global inventory stock levels (GDC/RDC).
  • Professional support of Service teams, globally, to assure achieving company/team/individual goals.
  • Establish and monitor service prompt delivery processes resulting in customer satisfaction (2 within 2 business days).
  • Act as “Super user” for all mechanical/electronical and software related Service events (customize all Service platforms accordingly).
  • Prepare and maintain Service manuals.
  • Manage global Service assets, loaners, tools, inventory, etc.
  • Ensure product serviceability; represent Service within NPI processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. In Mechanical / Electrical or mechatronics.
  • 5 years of experience as global tech support with proven hands-on capabilities in a capital medical device company.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and hold people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure.
  • Ability to effectively and technically communicate with R&D and Engineering departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, to present complex challenges to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with technical, non-technical staff and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, troubleshooting hands-on, eager to learn technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative, start-up environment demonstrating high energy, a sense of urgency, and decisiveness.
  •  Ability to travel.
