OBJECTIVE:

The Product Manager will lead the upstream product management of XACT Robotics, including internal and external endeavors to identify, prioritize and realize new product developments and existing product enhancements. The Product Manager will work with various XACT functions to develop new products via collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, and Operations. Be a part of a team that its mission is to augment and empower its provider partners with innovation that will democratize interventional procedures,  effectively treat, efficiently restore, and improve the quality of life for the patients they serve.

Candidate requires strong organizational and presentation skills. We are looking for a team player that is adept at working with motivated, self-directed, fast paced, highly collaborative cross functional teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather customer feedback (VOC) to drive upstream product development, create products and features pipeline, and plan individual products/features development
  • Understand and optimize health care provider and patients experience with XACT products.
  • Cultivate strong, long term relationships with XACT external stakeholders (physicians, technicians, nurses, administrators, etc.) and develop in-depth knowledge of their organization and needs
  • Lead product design from a customer needs perspective; generate market requirements documents, presentations and supporting materials to align all functional groups behind a common product development plan
  • Develop product launch cadence, comprehensive launch plans and execute
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (business development, marketing, sales, R&D, regulatory, operations, etc.) in creating proposals for new product developments and finalizing product specifications. Work closely with internal teams to develop and deliver innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to drive system utilization and profitability
  • Support ongoing product development decisions for current and future products
  • Maintain strong product knowledge; support internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Establish and maintain in-depth understanding of other technologies used in interventional procedures and their interface with/effect on the XACT system

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support other projects as assigned by Leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
  • At least 7 years of medical device upstream product management experience
  • Global system-level perspective and mindset
  • Proven experience learning technical products
  • Knowledge of medical device industry practices, techniques, and standards (e.g., role of clinical trials, reimbursement landscape, etc.)
  • Solid experience creating, implementing, and managing multiple projects
  • Experience with first-to-market medical device innovations in a start-up environment (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to present to various stakeholders
  • Proven ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner, both in written and verbal form
  • Interventional Radiology experience (an advantage)
  • Passion for networking and updating oneself with the latest technology and market trends and relate it to identifying new product opportunities
  • Self-motivated and directed, detail oriented and demonstrated ability to thrive and contribute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Disciplined, high performer who acts with authority, vision, and is accountable for results
  • Reliable, passionate, energetic, and ethical
  • Organized, efficient and capable of multitasking.
  • Experience with OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to travel up to 50% of time
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
